We will consider requests for bail assistance that meet the following criteria: *The person is being detained in a facility within our five-county operating area: Jackson, Clay, or Platte County in Missouri, or Johnson or Wyandotte County in Kansas. *Bail has been set at no more than $5,000.00. *The charge is a non-violent offense (exceptions are considered when the detainee was arrested for an act committed in self-defense in a domestic violence situation). *The Bail Fund has not provided bail assistance to this person within the past six months.  For a complete list of our criteria, please see the How to Apply page.
